Chris is a formidable artist and his canvases show extreme detail and color. And a quality that remains with the artist, his love of cities. Skyscrapers are prevalent, but displayed with imagination. One painting contains eight skyscrapers, each a different color and structure that can only be described as imaginary because of their closeness and style. The artist is presently painting individuals, again with perfect detail and color. but is such a way that character is displayed in the face, eyes especially.
Urban landscapes and churches have always inspired me. I create with acrylics and add recycled materials to add dimension to my paintings. —Chris Richnak
